Returning Multiple Result Sets in Sybase IQ
Sybase IQ : Displaying multiple result sets
In console mode (from a UNIX or Linux server) the dbisql utility does not display multiple result sets, by default. Below are the undocumented directives to issue at the top of your SQL batch.
set option isql_print_result_set=ALL
go
set option isql_show_multiple_result_sets=On
go
